U-GARD, a calcium magnesium dietary supplement for horses, will make gastic ulcers a thing of the past! Gastric ulcerations occur in apprioximately 80% of racing thoroughbreds and horses that perform strenuous exercise. Gastric ulcers are generally recognized as being casued by the stress of stall confinement, training, feeding large amounts of high starch grain, insufficient fiber in their diet, or long periods between feedings.
For an average 1,100 lb horse, feed 1 ounce twice daily with the horse's regular feed or mix with a small amount of water and give orally. Feed others according to body weight. Less for small horses, ponies, and foals. More for larger breeds.
